Be Careful, What you say can come to haunt you..
He was one of the best point guards of the ninetys, as well as a great role model for people that watched him. Tim Hardaway was a team player, who shared the ball and respected the players around him. This week's comments come to a surprise, especially after witnessing his demeanor as a player. Hardaway, being a minority himself, should have thought before he spoke. Sure, you have the right to have your own opinion, but it is also the right of others to be respected. John Amechi did something that is nearly impossible to do, not only in sports, but in this world in general. Hardaway's actions speak louder than his ability and leadership on the court. It is hard to forgive someone, who uses the word hate, when decribing a characteristic of someone. Sorry Tim, you just lost one of your fans. At least the NBA got it right, and fired you for not representing their viewpoints.
