UPDATE(10:29 PM): Todd Jones had his first blown save of the year, and it looked like the Tigers were going to lose this one, but in the ninth, I DID IT AGAIN! I called the following sequence. Heres how I worded it, "Ryan Raburn will walk on four pitches, and Miguel Cabrera is due, he will get a big hit." And that is what happened. A big win for the Tigers tonight, Freddy Dolsi gets the first win of his young career, and the Tigers are now at .500.

I'm just sitting here, enjoying some evening baseball, with my lovely girlfriend. The Tigers and Rockies are on the TV. The Tigers load the bases, with Ryan Raburn at the dish. My Lovely girlfriend decided to say, Get some RBIs Ryan! I replied with, how about four of them. Well guess what? The Tigers are at it again. Ryan Raburn went deep to give the Tigers a 5-0 lead in the 5th. I called the Shot! Thats Right.

Raburn replaced Magglio Ordonez in the top of the second.

The Tigers will be at the .500 mark with a win today. Kenny Rogers will face Greg Reynolds in the series finale.

Aramis Ramirez just hit a walk-off to center field to give the Cubbies a 4-3 win over the White Sox. Ramirez also hit a dinger off of Octavio Dotel earlier in the game. If the rest of this series is anything like this game, we sure have some great baseball in front of us. Kerry Wood gave up a double to start the ninth, but settled down nicely.

Tomorrow's Matchup: Jason Marquis vs. Jose Contreras 1:05 PM ET

Ken Griffey Jr. took a drive deep to right field in the top of the first, to become the sixth player to be introduced to the 600 home run club. Paul Bako just went deep and the Reds lead it 5-0. It will be interesting to see what the Reds consider to do with Griffey and Dunn. Both could be potential free agents in the fall. The Reds are currently having an authenticator working with someone who claims to have caught the ball. It is quite interesting situation, considering Pro Player Stadium was empty, yet there is such a discrepancy between who has the real home run ball. Stay tuned, I'll update you on the situation.

Trevor Hoffman comes in and gets the save for the Padres in an 8-6 ballgame. The Padres sweep the Mets thanks to a pinch hit home run by Tony Clark in the bottom of the eighth. If the Padres continue to play this well, they could get back into the hunt pretty quickly. The Padres are 7-3 in the last ten games. That has been without starters Jake Peavy and Chris Young and second baseman Tadihito Iguchi.

Many have been talking that the Padres could be sellers, but at this rate, they could be buyers for a solid bat in the middle of the order, or even a defined lead off hitter. Matt Holliday is out of the question, because the Rockies are a division foe, but Jason Bay, Tony Gwynn Jr., Kenny Lofton and many others are not out of the question. The pitching seems fine though. The Padres are high on newly acquired Cha Seung Baek and Randy Wolf alongside Greg Maddux have been hot as of late.

UPDATE: Chris Shelton was able to load the bases for Josh Hamilton. Hamilton hit a fielders choice grounder to 2nd base, but a run scored. With two outs, and the hottest hitter in the league, Milton Bradley up at the plate, Dan Wheeler was able to get the save on a grounder to 2nd. Wheeler is replacing the injured Troy Percival temporarily.

With one out in the bottom of the ninth, the Rangers have runners on 2nd and third and are threatening. Josh Hamilton is on deck for the Rangers, and we could see him flash his power against the team that drafted him and gave up on him. The score is 5-3, we will keep you posted.

UPDATE: The Mariners have nodded it all up with a four run 3rd to make it a tie ball game. So Far in the bottom half of the inning, The Yankees have loaded the bases and scored a run on a Melky Cabrera single. The Yankees lead it with the bases loaded and two outs with Johnny Damon at the dish.

Carlos Silva continues his struggles as the Yankees jump on him for a 4 run second inning so far. Silva is 0-3 in May with a 9.03 ERA. His last start against the Tigers, he gave up seven runs. Jason Giambi hit his ninth of the year to give them three and Melky Cabrera drove in Robinson Cano with a single. It seems the Mariners are well on their way to the second straight sweep of this road trip. As the inning continues, the Yankees have just batted around for the first time all year.

The Tigers are up 7-2 in the top of the sixth. Matt Joyce and Brandon Inge have both gone deep in this game as the offense has scored in 16 of the 21 innings of this series. Jeremy Bonderman has pitched out of two jams so far, and his slider has been just plain nasty. In the top of the 6th Bonderman has thrown 88 pitches and continues to cruise. The real question is has the tigers pitching improved and the bats come alive, or is it just the lowly Seattle pitching and struggling offense. Matt Joyce just makes a diving play to end another run by the Seattle offense. Going to the bottom of the sixth, It looks like the Tigers will cruise to their third straight victory. The Tigers will move to 20-27 with the victory.

Brandon Lyon has shut the door on the Colorado offense once again as the Diamondbacks improve their overall record to 25-15 and their home record to 16-7. Lyon got two very quick outs but then allowed a Todd Helton base knock and a Garret Atkins single put pinch runner Clint Barmes on third with two outs. Lyons got Brad Hawpe to pop up to third and the Diamondbacks win yet another baseball game.

Troy Percival came to close out the 3-0 shutout and beautifully pitched game by Edwin Jackson, but has been met with the force of the Jays offense(really? it is possible?) Lyle Overbay doubled and Aaron Hill singled to tie the game after Vernon Wells homered with Scott Rolen on base. Percival just struck out Marco Scutaro and it looks like we are going to extras. B.J. Ryan will pitch in the top of the tenth.

Josh Beckett looks to have returned to his old form, at least for one start as he is dominating Tigers hitters as we speak. His Changeup has been moving well at 88 mph tonight and his curve has fooled everyone, especially Curtis Granderson this evening. Justin Verlander had the stuff to compete but gave up 5 runs pretty quickly. Verlander's struggles continue and it looks like he will get the loss. Anyone who watched this game though would note that Beckett's stuff was his best of 2008.

As I type, Joey Votto steps up to the plate to lead off the bottom of the eighth. He just grounded out to short, but a great game from Votto, blasting three bombs in a 9-0 blowout thus far. The real story of the game though was youngster Edison Volquez. He dominated, throwing 10 strikeouts in 7 shutout innings. On the other side of the ball, Jon Lieber made his first start as a cub since 2002 and didn't look to good. He only went two innings giving up 5 runs. Volquez will improve to 5-1 if the Reds can hold on in the top of the ninth.

Prince Fielder has gone yard in the top of the tenth, to give the Brewers a 5-3 lead against the hot St. Louis Cardinals. This is the first homer of the season for Fielder. This game has been a great match up and looks to be a good battle all season long. Brad Thomson, the recent starter demoted to the pen for Joel Pinero. Eric Gagne will come in to start the bottom of the tenth to get the win.

The Tigers are up 11-1 tonight on division foe Cleveland. Edgar Renteria blasted a grand slam as part of a 7 run 5th. Now, as a watch in the top of the sixth, the Tigers have loaded the bases again, 1 outs and Brandon Inge just walked in a run. Jim Leyland and the Tiger nation should breathe a bit easier now that the Tigers have finally found a way to produce runs. C.C. Sabathia just looked horrible and Miguel Cabrera went deep for the second straight game. It will be interesting to see how the bullpen holds up this lead. Armando Gallaraga will start the bottom of the sixth, sitting down 14 in a row.

The Mets are now 2-8 with Runners in scoring position after David Wright scored from second and Carlos Beltran drove in a runner from second on an RBI single. Its 4-0 New York over Washington.

Its the Bottom of the seventh and Jose Reyes, wearing number 42 in honor of Jackie Robinson, has singled to most likely end his chance of a natural cycle. Reyes needed a home run to complete it. Reyes' return is good News for Mets fans though. Yet again though, the offense isn't getting it done with runners in scoring position. The Mets are 0-6 on the night so far with runners in scoring position. David Wright has a homer and an RBI double, making him accountable for both runs on the night.

One inning into tonight's affair between the Brewers and Cardinals and it already looks ugly for trade bait starter Dave Bush. It is only an inning in and his pitches are all over the place. Granted it is only 1-0, and the run scored on a wild pitch, I just see this being a long night for the curve ball hurling middle of the rotation type of guy. Many believe he is available, simply because of today's signing of Jeff Weaver. Here is what some have said:

• Brewersnation likes the idea of Dave Bush, Gabe Gross and Mat Gamel going to Detroit in exchange for James Skelton, Casey Crosby and a low pitching prospect.

• MLBTR sees Dave Bush as a possible option for the Tigers or Braves.

• What do I see? I think that Bush is a Brewer when it is all said in done. I like Tom Haudricourt's idea of waiving Seth Mcclung and making Bush the long reliever.

Ok, so maybe he doesn't look too bad tonight. Its 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth. Brewers Outfielder Corey Hart owns 2 of the 3 Brewers hits so far.

Aubrey Huff continues to kill Rays pitching. Its the Top of the Seventh and the Orioles are up 5-2. Bases are Loaded with Huff at the dish. Everyone has a hit besides catcher Ramon Hernandez, who has an RBI and Jay Payton. Considering the Orioles Bullpen is lights out so far, I think it is safe to say you can put another win the win column for the O's. We will see though, because you never know with the game of baseball. Jeremy Guthrie Pitched well for the second straight start.

The Tigers have their first lead in a game after the seventh inning tonight, as they lead the Red Sox, 6-2. The Offense seems to be awake and the bullpen has actually shut down hitters. Denny Bautista had Big Papi on his heels and it looks like they will get the win tonight. Manager Jim Leyland has made some good moves so far, going with Lefty Bobby Seay for two innings and giving Marcus Thames the start in left. Thames went deep early in the game.

Dusty Baker decided in the top of the 7th of the current Brewers/Reds match up the he would have Johnny Cueto go another inning extra and sent him to the plate. Cueto grounded the runner to third and Corey Patterson drove him in, with is fine, but Dusty let his starter go too far again., just like his glory days in Chicago. Cueto came in and gave up a solo shot to Bill Hall, and now it looks like the Reds will lose the game.
