Jose Capellan threw 6 innings of no hit baseball for the Rockies AAA affiliate Colorado Springs. Capellan, who was acquired by the Rockies via trade with Detroit, was three innings away from being the first pitcher in 21 years to do so for Colorado Springs. Capellan started his professional career as an Atlanta farm hand before being traded to the Milwaukee Brewers for then closer Dan Kolb. Capellan will be looking for his third chance at the major league level. He seems to have the stuff, but at age 26 he has already failed at two golden opportunities. Only Time will tell. Hey, Maybe the third time will be a charm.
