Hey all, I hope you are enjoying the opener! Not a big update today, because baseball has taken over my screen, but here is what i have for you
- The Orioles signed shortstop Alex Cintron today. It looks like he will be the starter, considering he is now the all around best short stop in the system.
- Love goes out to the Rays, winning their first opening day game today in their young history. The Rays will continue their series in Baltimore Wednesday.
- Though the Yankees-Jays game was canceled due to rain, the game will be rescheduled for tomorrow. Roy Halladay will make his sixth consecutive start on opening day.
- The Braves have signed troubled third baseman Scott Spezio. This complicates the bench for the braves and offers that either Brayon Pena could be traded or Corky Miller be released.
