We have some Draft Info straight off the Press...... Whew!?!? thats HOT:

• John Manuel of Baseball America touches on all of the Options at first base and how to sift through those options.

• Amy Nelson, the wonderful and talented ESPN commentator has a great article on ESPN.com about Pedro Alvarez. Gerry Fraley also comments on the Brewer's draft history and how they could fortify this franchise in the 2008 Draft. Bob Klapisch also writes about the three early picks for the mets.
  

• Here is a list of representatives for each major league ball club, that will be at the draft on Thursday.

• Tom Verducci of Sports Illustrated has a great piece on why the draft is more important than it ever has been. With the game becoming so young, the draft is important for those teams that are aging to catch up.

The Consensus at this point is that Tim Beckham is the best player available, but the Rays could reach out for Buster Posey because of position needs. Also, in Jonathon Mayo's (MLB.com) last mock draft, he had Aaron Crow going at number 4 over Brian Matusz. Interesting to see, but Crow has been on fire in regional play. Brett Wallace of Arizona State seems to be a hot topic as well. The Twins are hoping he falls to him, but with all the recent talk and his great play, he could go sooner than the middle of the draft. Wallace has been blogging his experience on MLB.com.
