Here is a look at 11-20 on my revised top 25 prospect list.

11.) Trevor Cahill, SP Oakland Athletics - Only 20 years old, Cahill has shown that his maturity on the mound is not a factor. In time in AA, Cahill has been the minor league leader in strikeouts and has keep the ball down in the zone, preventing damage. What really impresses is his .134 opponents batters average since has has made the move to AA. All together this season, he has held opponents to a .166 average. Impressive.

Baseball America's #11 Prospect: Chris Tillman

12.) Dexter Fowler, OF Colorado Rockies - Fowler has all of the tools. His speed and defensive ability to stay on the ball in center is unmatchable, which will come in handy in the spacious Coors field. Once his bat improves, which it has tremendously this season, he will be major league ready. In 2009 I expect Fowler and not Tavaras in center in Denver.

Baseball America's #12 Prospect: Neftali Perez

13.) Neftali Feliz, SP Texas Rangers - Perez is one of the few reasons the Rangers were comfortable with trading Edison Volquez in the off-season. Perez could possibly have a better fastball than the Cy Young hopeful. I like to compare Feliz to a rough Johnny Cueto. He has all the stuff to be a more than great pitcher, but his command and composure really need some work. Unlike Number 14 on the list.

Baseball America's #13 Prospect: Trevor Cahill

14.) Chris Tillman, SP Baltimore Orioles - Tillman has impressed many across the nation since coming to the Baltimore organization. The only reason I have him in the middle of my prospect list is because he hasn't proved his talent to me yet. Unlike Feliz, his talent doesn't have quite the ceiling, but his command and control of the game is quite clear. Tillman has only given up 71 hits in 88 innings of work.

Baseball America's #14 Prospect: Austin Jackson

15.) Brett Anderson, SP Oakland Athletics - Yes, this is the second Oakland pitcher in the top 25. billy Beane has done an amazing job of rebuilding this system. Brett Anderson has great control on the hill, and it makes his pitchers harder to pick up. Anderson struggled when he came over from the Arizona organization, but he is responding to a AA callup. Anderson has given up 2 earned runs in 3 starts so far for AA Midland.

Baseball America's #15 Prospect: Dexter Fowler

16.) Austin Jackson, OF New York Yankees - Jackson has become more of a tool outfielder after turning around his game in the New York system. Once known as a pure power hitter, Jackson now has fine tuned his swing. With 14 stolen bases and even 8 dingers, Jackson is becoming the next to actually make it through the Yankees system. He still needs to work on his patience at te plate though. He has 46 walks compared to 76 strikeouts.

Baseball America's #16 Prospect: Brett Anderson

17.) Micheal Bowden, SP Boston Red Sox - This kid is something special. Sure, he has an unorthodox delivery, but at AA, he has been mowing down hitters. In 104 innings, he has only given up five long balls, while walking just 24. What impresses me the most though, is the strikeout ratio. 101 in 104 innings. Wow.

Baseball America's #17 Prospect: Micheal Bowden

18.) Tim Alderson, SP San Fransisco Giants - Alderson is compared to Rick Porcello in a lot of ways. He has made a great impression in HiA with 9 wins and 85 strikeouts in 97 innings. Alderson does need to work on his control though. He has walked about three a game, which isn't horrible for a prospect at his level. I would not be surprised to see Alderson up with the parent team by 2010, if his production continues to improve.

Baseball America's # 18 Prospect: Jarrod Parker

19.) Mat Gamel, 3B Milwaukee Brewers - I know in my last podcast I talked up Mr. Gamel as the number one prospect in the Brewers but it doesn't quite translate to the big picture. I honestly believe if Gamel can prove his glove is better than he has shown, he instantly makes his way into the top ten, but that is the major issue. We know he can hit. Only time will tell. Either way, he will be a major league sometime very soon.

Baseball America's # 19 Prospect: Tim Alderson

20.) Fernando Martinez, OF New York Mets - We all know that the Mets held out Martinez in Johan Santana talks, but with his injury history they could have made a mistake. Well, you have seen what Gomez can do at the major league level. Picture those numbers and defensive performances but better and you have described Martinez. If he can stay healthy, and the Mets are out, which I doubt they will be, we could see Martinez really soon.

Baseball America's # 20 Prospect: Mat Gamel

In our next post, we will take out at the last five in the top 25, plus prospects on the rise. Stay tuned.
