AROD, What is Your Problem?

One player I am really hating on right now is Alex Rodriguez. The first thing that irks me is that he is hanging around with Madonna, while his wife watches his newborn. Ok, it's not my business, not at all. I could really care less. BUT IM SICK OF HEARING ABOUT IT. Then the top story on the AP Wire this afternoon is the story of him and his girlfriend separating. When are writers and journalists finally realize we don't care? Ok enough of that rant. But I'm really heated on another decision by AROD.
This is the last time that the best of the game will gather together in the house that Ruth Built. Yankee Stadium is leaving the world of baseball. And Rodriguez is saying goodbye, by withdrawing from the home run derby during the all-star weekend. Shouldn't it be required? Rodriguez will someday break Ruth's record. In a Yankee Uniform. For all I know, the New Yankee Stadium could be the house the AROD built. But yet again Alex Rodriguez is showing that he isn't a franchise player.
As of now, It will be the last home run derby without a representative in Yankee pinstripes. Oh Wait, Sure there will be. David Ortiz will represent Babe Ruth in the called shot.
I really hope Rodriguez changes his mind. It would be a good opportunity to get on the fan's good side. Especially if he chokes yet again down the stretch. That is if there is even a stretch for the Yanks.
