Lets take a look at the best Match Ups and News today as game time approaches.

Joba Chamberlain (1-2 2.42) vs. Zack Grienke (5-3 3.56) - We saw Royals pitching shut down the Yankees in the first game of this series, but yesterday, Johnny Damon (6-6) and the Yankee offense mustered together a win. Chamberlain will take the mound for his second go around as a starter. I think Chamberlain will be able to overcome this offense with a bit better pitch selection and location. Zack Grienke on the other hand has given up 17 runs in his last 19 innings pitched. This could be a great opportunity for the Yankees to take two out of three from Kansas City.

Ervin Santana (8-2 3.02) vs. Rich Harden (3-0 2.61)
- Both pitchers have put on a display so far this season. Santana already has more wins than last year. Santana is 8-1 in his career against the A's. Harden has only given up 2 runs in six of his starts so far this season and has been valuable when healthy for Oakland.

Radhames Lyz (1-0 3.38) vs. Roy Halladay (7-5 2.94) - Lyz will make his second start of the season after a four hit debut for the Orioles. One issue that could hurt Lyz is his location, but if he mixes his pitches, he should be just fine. Halladay is 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA and 27 strikeouts in his last four outings. He looks to continue that success. Halladay is 16-4 with a 2.84 ERA all time against the Orioles.

Top News:

Chris De Luca of the Chicago Tribune looks at five players that are the most likely to be traded at the deadline. The List is as follows: Ken Griffey, Greg Maddux, C.C. Sabathia, Jon Rauch, and Brian Roberts. I think it is safe to add Randy Wolf, Houston Street, Adam Dunn and Kevin Millwood to this list among others.

Chipper Jones is out the next two days with a slight tear in his leg muscle. ESPN's John Kruk says that this tear will most likely effect him from right side of the plate. I believe this is only minor, but I don't know if two days away from the plate is a good thing for his hunt for .400.
