The Best Super Bowl of all time? The Ratings say so

(Justin Tuck was a big force all year for the New York Giants)

It lasted more than a New York minute and never stopped. In Super Bowl XLII, the story wasn't the blazing speed of Randy Moss or the perfection of a Tom Brady Bomb. It wasn't even the story of a perfect season, but that of a perfect defense.

Though the game was won on an offensive stand, The New York Football Giant defense shined all night and made it possible. Made it possible for the lowest seeded-NFC team ever to win the game of games, in front of a record number of television viewers and in front of a Patriot offense that did not have the answer to how to stop the melee brought upon by Micheal Strahan, Osi Umenyiora, and Justin Tuck. The Linebackers swarmed the running game and passes up the middle and Corners like Aaron Ross shut down the big plays. They shut down the two x-factors, Randy Moss and Tom Brady. Two BIG reasons why the Patriots were undefeated this season.

It is safe to say that the giants should go down as one of the best playoff teams ever. With a TOUGH road to the play-offs, with all of their wins coming on the road, they deserved everything they got. Sometimes Mr. Bill Belichek, there is more to games than just preparing. The Giants showed that with their heart.
