Ryan Garko has silently cont
inued to improve his status as one of the best power hitting first baseman in the league. Hidden behind the power of Designated Hitter Travis Hafner and the smooth stroke of catcher Victor Martinez, Ryan Garko has been a huge part of the turnaround of the Cleveland Indians Franchise.
Though Ryan Garko has started slow and is only hitting .241 with four homers and 19 RBIs, his bat is picking up slowly but surely. In the last six games Garko has picked up two of those home runs and five RBIs. With the bat of Travis Hafner coming alive this weekend and the pitching of Cleveland bringing it the last few weeks, Garko will have even more opportunities to drive in runs and go deep. Garko hit 21 homers last season. Garko is owned in 45 % of leagues.
