Lots of Information to share with you, lets get started right away:

  • The Baltimore Orioles are 6-1 when Daniel Cabrera takes the mound. I know it sounds like a fluke but Cabrera could be for real. His pitching has been a lot more controlled and he can get out of jams. If the Orioles are out of it Daniel Cabrera could be prized trade bait come July. We all know at least the Yankees would give him a shot.
  • Tony Gwynn Jr. will make the start in center today over Mike Cameron. Gwynn could be a cornerstone piece in a deadline deal if the Brewers try to nab some starting or relief pitching at the deadline. Though many believe the center field job is for him to take in 2009. In other Brewers news, Eric Gagne could soon join Jason Isringhausen as a replaced closer in the NL central. Ned Yost seems set on Gagne, but management could be thinking other wise.
  • How will Johnny Cueto fair against the Mets this afternoon? That seems to be the question every time he starts. I'll be honest, I was one who bought into his amazing start against the Diamondbacks early in the season, and I am still high on him. I think Cueto will get back on track against the Mets tonight in another power pitching performance. Oliver Perez will be the opposing pitcher.
  • Who would your starting pitchers be for the all-star game? Well, it has to be obvious that they have to be Cliff Lee and Brandon Webb. Both are just dominating hitters and cannot be stopped. I don't know if starting the all-star game though is something that Cliff Lee should do. This being his first major successful year, he might want to take the weekend off instead of throwing off his pitching schedule by throwing just a few innings. Anyways, wasn't this C.C.'s Year?
  • MOST IMPORTANTLY.... It's Mothers day today, so call your mama and thank her for putting you in this world so you could watch this beautiful game and for understanding your baseball fever. It's the only right thing to do. Take at least a couple minutes from your game and spend it with your mother. DO IT!
